Abstract

Ensuring learning for people with physical disabilities in driving schools is a significant educational, technological and regulatory challenge, with important implications for building an inclusive and equitable society in Ecuador. This study aims to analyse learning guarantees for people with physical disabilities in driving schools, highlighting the need for adapted pedagogical strategies and inclusive public policies that remove the structural barriers that hinder their access to road safety training. From a constitutional perspective, the state has the obligation to guarantee substantive equality, non-discrimination and universal accessibility, ensuring the right to mobility in conditions of equity. In this context, personalised pedagogical strategies, the use of accessible technologies, training of trainers and curricular adaptation are key elements to create inclusive educational environments that promote the full exercise of fundamental rights.
