In Ecuador, cancer represents one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality, which poses important challenges for the health system. The objective of this study is to analyze the right to health in cancer patients in Ecuador. A documentary review of 11 scientific articles was carried out. Among the main problems are barriers in access to essential drugs and advanced treatments, insufficient pain management, lack of effective prevention and early diagnosis programs, and economic inequalities that limit access to health services. Situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic have highlighted the vulnerability of oncology patients, highlighting the need to prioritize their care.
