Resumen

Objetivo: analizar el impacto de terapias regenerativas en la recuperación de tejidos periodontales dañados por periodontitis avanzada. Método: revisión sistemática en población de 15 articulos científicos. Resultados y Conclusión: Las terapias regenerativas han generado un impacto en el manejo de la periodontitis avanzada, al proporcionar soluciones innovadoras que permiten la regeneración de tejidos periodontales perdidos, como el hueso alveolar, el cemento radicular y el ligamento periodontal, superando las limitaciones de los tratamientos convencionales. Estas estrategias han demostrado mejorar la funcionalidad periodontal y la calidad de vida de los pacientes, al restaurar estructuras esenciales para la salud oral. Tecnologías avanzadas, como el uso de células madre, nanopartículas y hemocomponentes, han ampliado las posibilidades terapéuticas, especialmente en casos complejos, al ofrecer enfoques más precisos y efectivos.
