Objetivo: analizar los factores epidemiológicos, sociales y ecológicos del dengue en Ecuador. Método: Revisión sistemática en 15 articulos científicos. Resultados y Conclusión: El dengue en Ecuador representa un desafío significativo para la salud pública, determinado por la interacción de factores epidemiológicos, sociales y ecológicos. La circulación simultánea de múltiples serotipos del virus, las condiciones climáticas favorables para la proliferación del vector Aedes aegypti y las inequidades sociales, como la pobreza y el acceso limitado a servicios básicos, son determinantes clave en su persistencia y expansión.
