Evaluación de los factores etiológicos, diagnóstico y tratamiento para la transposición de caninos permanentes. Revisión narrativa [Evaluation of etiologic factors, diagnosis and treatment for permanent canine transposition. Narrative review]

Objetivo: Evaluar los factores etiológicos, diagnóstico y tratamiento para la transposición de caninos permanentes. Método: La literatura se seleccionó mediante una búsqueda en bases de datos electrónicas. Las palabras clave utilizadas fueron: Evaluación, tratamiento, dientes, transmigración La búsqueda se restringió a artículos en inglés, español y portugués publicados desde el año 2013 al 2025. Resultados: Después de aplicar los criterios de inclusión en total se obtuvieron y revisaron 19 artículos. Se realizo la revisión narrativa. Conclusión: La literatura disponible reveló los principales factores que podrían desencadenar una anomalía en cuanto a la posición dental, así como también los medios diagnósticos adecuados para un análisis precio y sobre todo para una detección temprana a fin de favorecer la elaboración de un protocolo de tratamiento en base a la toma de decisiones, respecto a las mejores alternativas, dependiendo el grado de complejidad de la transposición dental.
