Plagiarism detection policy
The most frequent forms of unethical principles in publishing are: plagiarism, improper authorship and redundant publication:
- Plagiarism: All proposals for publication will be submitted for review by a text similarity check programme (Similarity Check). Proposals containing a high percentage of similarity will not be accepted (more than 10%).
- Inadequate authorship: Authors are responsible for the authors' participation in the authorship and the order of appearance in the article; the journal has no influence on these aspects. Authors should not make changes to the number and order of authors once the editorial process has started.
- Redundant publication (duplicate publication and fragmented publication): The Journal does not accept duplicate publication, in case of incurring in this fault and demonstrating its occurrence, authors are subject to the guidelines https://publicationethics.org/COPE established by COPE.
In order to guarantee originality and respect for the copyright of other researchers, articles that aspire to be published in Verdad y Derecho. Revista Arbitrada de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales will be subject to review by means of anti-plagiarism software.
Contributors who plagiarize (any total or partial reproduction of content that is not cited) will not be allowed to publish again in Verdad y Derecho. Revista Arbitrada de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales.
Any article received with more than 10% plagiarism or self-plagiarism will not be approved.
