Conflict of interest

Authors of a manuscript, the receiving journal editors and its reviewers must declare any conflict of interest that may influence the manuscript or its review and approval. In the event that authors declare a conflict of interest, this must be reported to the journal editor. In turn, those invited to review a manuscript must excuse themselves from doing so if they have a conflict of interest with the authors or the subject matter. The journal guarantees that the most suitable reviewers will be selected also in terms of thematic and academic compatibility.
In case of controversy, Verdad y Derecho. Revista Arbitrada de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales, is committed to resolve these cases and will take the most appropriate measures to identify and prevent the publication of articles in which cases of research misconduct have occurred. Under no circumstances will Verdad y Derecho. Revista Arbitrada de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales, will encourage such misconduct, nor will it knowingly allow such misconduct to occur.
Should the editor or editors of the journal become aware of any allegations of research misconduct, the editor will address the allegations, retracting or correcting articles when necessary. To publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies, if necessary.
To resolve disputes, Verdad y Derecho. Revista Arbitrada de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
