The objective of the research is to study the Reform of the concurrent competence art. 10, numeral 10: Principle of the best interest of the child. The methodological approach was qualitative, with a descriptive design, with the participation of three key informants. The analysis of the reform of article 10, numeral 10 of the COGEP from the perspective of the administrators of justice shows the importance of guaranteeing the best interests of the child as the central axis of judicial decisions. The results reflect a majority consensus on the need to establish exclusive jurisdiction in child support and filiation cases, as this would allow for faster, more specialized and centralized decisions, avoiding jurisdictional conflicts and reducing the economic and logistical barriers that affect guardians and, consequently, minors.
