Analysis of stability, inequality and workers' rights in the Ecuadorian context [Análisis de la estabilidad, desigualdad y derechos de los trabajadores en el contexto ecuatoriano]

Work, as a fundamental right and social duty, constitutes one of the essential pillars of the Ecuadorian legal system, as established in the 2008 Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. The objective of the research is to analyse the stability, inequality and rights of workers in the Ecuadorian context. It was carried out using a descriptive documentary methodology and an analytical-synthetic method, which made it possible to compile, organise and examine information from 18 scientific articles. The analysis of labour stability, labour inequality, workers' rights and constitutional labour law in Ecuador shows that, although the normative framework establishes solid principles for the protection of labour rights, its implementation faces important challenges, such as the lack of effective control mechanisms, the persistence of structural inequalities and the vulnerability of workers in contexts of crisis.
