Este artículo tiene por objetivo analizar el acoso cibernético a los niños, niñas y adolescentes. Mediante una revisión sistemática de 16 estudios publicados entre 2010-2024, se examinan la conceptualización, prevalencia, impacto en salud mental y diferencias respecto al acoso tradicional. Los resultados evidencian características distintivas del ciberacoso como su alcance ilimitado y persistencia temporal, así como consecuencias significativas en el bienestar psicosocial de las víctimas. Se identifican patrones diferenciados según género y contextos socioculturales, con particular relevancia para la realidad ecuatoriana. Se concluye la necesidad de implementar estrategias preventivas integrales que involucren a familias, instituciones educativas y organismos gubernamentales, adaptadas a las particularidades del contexto nacional, para garantizar entornos digitales seguros donde la población infantojuvenil pueda desarrollarse plenamente.
