Resumen

Objetivo: analizar las consideraciones en tratamientos endodónticos en pacientes con diabetes. Método: revisión sistemática en población de 15 articulos científicos. Resultados y Conclusión: La evidencia revisada confirma la relación bidireccional entre la diabetes mellitus tipo 2 (DM2) y las enfermedades orales, como la periodontitis y la periodontitis apical, destacando el impacto negativo de la hiperglucemia crónica en la respuesta inmunitaria, la cicatrización de tejidos y los resultados de los tratamientos endodónticos.
