Objective: To conduct a comparative analysis of dental waxing techniques. Method: Systematic review of 15 scientific articles. Results and Conclusion: Traditional manual waxing techniques remain essential for the development of psychomotor skills in students and offer advantages in terms of control and customisation, while digital techniques excel in terms of precision, efficiency and reproducibility in professional clinical settings.
