Objective: to analyse sexual health and human papillomavirus in adolescents. Method: Systematic review of 15 scientific articles. Results and conclusion: Nurses are in a privileged position to lead educational interventions and promote vaccination, especially in school and primary care settings. Future strategies should address socioeconomic and geographical disparities, implement culturally adapted educational programmes and strengthen explicit professional recommendation on vaccination.
