Abstract

Objective: to analyse clinical strategies for the early detection and prevention of intracranial aneurysms. Method: Systematic review of 15 scientific articles. Results: Early detection and prevention of intracranial aneurysms require a multidisciplinary approach that integrates screening strategies in high-risk populations, interventions targeting genetic and metabolic factors, and the use of advanced endovascular techniques. The identification of molecular biomarkers, such as inflammation and oxidative stress, together with innovative tools such as macrophage imaging and polygenic risk scores, represent promising advances for improving risk stratification and personalising clinical management.
