Abstract

Objective: to analyze the development of oral diagnostic technologies. Method: systematic population-based review of 15 scientific articles. Results and Conclusion: The development of technologies applied to oral diagnostics and removable dental prostheses has revolutionized clinical practice in dentistry, optimizing the precision, functionality and personalization of prosthetic treatments. Advances such as the implementation of CAD-CAM polymers, 3D printing, innovative materials such as nanoclay and advanced maintenance strategies, such as ultrasonic cleaning and antimicrobial prostheses, have demonstrated significant improvements in adaptation, durability and control of complications related to oral hygiene.
