Objective: To analyze veneers as an esthetic solution for anterior teeth with wear. Method: systematic population-based review of 15 scientific articles. Results and Conclusion: Dental veneers constitute a highly effective restorative solution for the esthetic and functional management of anterior teeth with wear, as they combine optimal properties of esthetics, functionality and preservation of the remaining tooth structure. Their clinical success is conditioned by determining factors such as the design of the preparation, the selection of the restorative material and the adhesive technique used. Ceramic veneers stand out for their superiority in terms of longevity and esthetic stability, while composite veneers offer a more economical and versatile alternative, although with limitations in their durability.
