Resumen

Objetivo: analizar los sellantes de fisuras y su estabilidad en el tiempo. Método: revisión sistemática en población de 15 articulos científicos. Resultados y Conclusión: La estabilidad de los sellantes de fisuras a lo largo del tiempo depende de múltiples factores, como el material utilizado, la técnica de aplicación, el seguimiento clínico y las características individuales del paciente. Los sellantes de resina han demostrado una mayor retención, mientras que los de ionómero de vidrio ofrecen beneficios adicionales como la liberación de flúor, lo que los hace útiles en situaciones específicas.
