In the context of higher education, characterised by constant technological advancement and increased demand for personalised learning experiences, teaching competences have become more complex and specialised. The aim of the research is to analyse audiovisual teaching competences in meaningful learning in higher education. This study is framed in a descriptive bibliographic documentary design, based on a selection of 22 bibliographic sources. The ability to adapt audiovisual materials to intercultural and varied contexts ensures that learning is accessible and relevant to a diversity of learners. Furthermore, continuous training in the use of ICT and audiovisual resources enables teachers to innovate and keep up to date with educational trends, thus guaranteeing quality teaching that responds to contemporary demands.
